| Dominican Retreat, hidden on 12 acres of rolling lawn, nature trails, and shade trees in the heart of McLean, Virginia, has provided an oasis of peace, solitude, and renewal to thousands of people for over 40 years. Providing a peaceful and restful atmosphere, Dominican Retreat is open to anyone seeking spiritual renewal and prayer. One can sit quietly in the chapel, stroll through the woods, or enjoy conversation on the patio in summer or around the fireplace in winter. The Retreat House offers a variety of retreat programs designed to nurture the spiritual needs of women and men in today’s all too busy world. The programs are available to individuals of all ages, faiths, and walks of life. Rooted in the Roman Catholic tradition, all weekend retreats and most day programs also offer the opportunity for celebration of the Eucharist and Reconciliation. Through a retreat experience, you can gain a new perspective on God’s presence in your life. We invite you to consider attending one or more of the many programs being offered in 2012. 2012 Retreats & Programs 2012 Theme: “In quiet and in trust your strength lies.” Isaiah 30:15 The “Weekends for Women,”” Weekends for Men” and “Days of Reflection” will focus on the House Theme.
